Synthetic, licensed, or real.

Every route ends in the same place: campaign-ready images produced from your product photo by our team.

Route A

AI models

Fully synthetic identities created by whyshoot?. Not based on any real person, so there is no likeness consent to manage. Always labelled as AI. Fastest to cast; can't attend a real shoot.

Route B

Licensed digital talent

Real people who have signed an AI-likeness release and set the categories they'll appear in. They earn every time they're cast; you get clean, agreed usage rights.

Route C

Real models, real shoot

Book a model from the roster for a live shoot, or have us produce their campaign imagery with AI from their portfolio. Availability and rates are confirmed per booking.

Filter the roster

Browse by gender, skin tone, body type and region. AI and real models are shown in separate sections and labelled on every card.

Cast from the profile

Every profile states whether the model is synthetic or a real person, plus specialities and usage. "Cast this model" pre-fills your shoot brief.

Send your product

A phone photo and a few lines about the campaign. Add references or brand guidelines if you have them.

04 / Rights and disclosure

AI models

No real person's likeness is involved, so there are no consent limits on categories. We label AI models on our site and tell you which of your frames are AI-assisted so you can meet any disclosure rules that apply to your ads.

Licensed digital talent

Usage is limited to the channels, territories, duration and categories the model agreed to. We verify identity and age (18+) and review every profile before it goes live.

Per-project agreement

Whichever route you choose, your usage rights are written into the project agreement. Plain-English summary on the licensing page.

05 / Limitations

What we won't do.

No lookalikes of real people

We don't create or cast a likeness of any real person, public figure or influencer without their signed consent.

No fake testimonials

AI models are not customers. We won't produce imagery that presents a synthetic model as a real user, reviewer or endorser.

Images, not appearances

AI models exist only in still imagery. Live shoots, events and video need a real model from the roster.

Consistency is checked, not assumed

Each AI model is produced from a fixed reference set and every frame is checked for a consistent likeness before delivery. Tell us if a campaign needs the same model across many SKUs so we plan for it.

06 / Questions

Brands ask.

No. Our AI models (currently Mira, Aanya, Arjun and Dev) are fully synthetic identities created by whyshoot?. They are not trained to resemble any specific real person, and every profile says so.
Yes. Tell us in the brief that you want a recurring face and we plan the project around it. Exclusivity for an AI model is not offered by default; ask us if you need it.
A stock image is a fixed photo licensed to anyone. Licensed digital talent is a real person who has consented to appear in new imagery produced for your product, within categories they chose, and who is paid each time they're cast.
Yes. Describe the audience you want to represent in the shoot brief and choose "Not sure — advise me". We'll propose a cast, real or AI, before any frame is produced.
