Service · done for you

AI product photography, done for you.

Send one phone photo of your product. We cast a real, licensed-digital or AI model, build the set and light around your brand, composite your actual product into the frame and retouch every image. Campaign-ready visuals in days, not weeks.

01 / What it is

A studio shoot without the studio.

whyshoot? is a hybrid: you cast the model and brief us online, and our team produces the images. There is no self-serve generator to learn. Every frame is art-directed, composited from your real product photo so labels and details stay true, and checked by a human before you see it.

Use it for launch campaigns, PDP and marketplace sets, paid social creatives, catalogues and seasonal refreshes, across skincare, jewellery, wellness, fashion, food, and lifestyle products.

02 / Who it's for

Brands that ship faster than a shoot allows.

  • D2C and ecommerce brands launching new SKUs every month
  • Marketplace sellers who need consistent, compliant listing imagery
  • Founders who have a product photo and a deadline, not a crew
  • Agencies producing ad creative at volume for several clients
03 / Inputs, outputs, timeline

What you send. What you get.

You send

2–4 phone photos

Front, back and a label close-up in decent light is enough. Brand guidelines, past campaigns or reference images help but aren't required.

You choose

A model and a route

Pick a model from the roster, or ask us to recommend one. Choose AI, licensed digital talent or a real shoot.

You get

Campaign-ready files

Hero packshots, on-model or in-use shots, lifestyle scenes and ecommerce sets, delivered in the formats you need for PDPs, marketplaces, Meta and Google ads, or print.

Timeline

Concepts in 24–48h

First concepts within 24–48 hours of your brief. Final approved files typically within 3–5 days. Rush turnaround on request.

05 / Revisions

Free first concept. Revisions included.

✓

See it before you pay

We send a free sample concept from your brief before you commit to anything.

✓

Refine until it's right

Review each round and tell us what to change: set, light, pose, crop, styling. Revisions are included in the project, not billed as reshoots.

✓

Human QA on every frame

Anything that looks synthetic, or where the product isn't true to life, is rejected before it reaches you.

06 / Licensing and usage rights

Rights sorted before a frame is made.

✓

Usage agreed per project

The channels, territories and duration you can use the images for are set out in plain terms in your project agreement.

✓

Real models: consent-verified

Every real person on the roster has signed a likeness release and set the categories they're comfortable with. See licensing & consent.

✓

AI models: no likeness limits

Our AI models are fully synthetic identities, so there is no real person's consent to manage. They are always labelled as AI. How AI models work.

07 / Limitations

What AI product photography can't do (yet).

We'd rather you know before you brief us.

Fine print

Tiny label text

We keep your real product pixels in the frame, so labels stay accurate. Extreme macro of very small text may still need a straight product photo from you.

Materials

Glass, chrome and gloss

Highly reflective or transparent products need a couple more reference angles so reflections and refractions read correctly.

People

AI models don't do live shoots

An AI model exists only in images. For a real on-location shoot, cast a real model from the roster and we'll coordinate the booking.

Ethics

No lookalikes, no borrowed styles

We won't recreate a real person's likeness without their consent, or copy another brand's campaign. Every real face is consent-verified.

08 / Questions

Before you brief us.

We use your real one. The model, set and light are produced around it, and your actual product photo is composited into the frame so shape, colour and labels stay true. That's why we ask for a clear phone photo rather than a description.
No. You choose the model and send the brief online; our team produces, retouches and quality-checks every image. You review concepts and approve finals. There's nothing to learn or operate.
Rates depend on the number of SKUs, outputs and model route, so we quote per project. You'll get a plan and a free first concept before you pay anything. Send a brief or book a 15-minute consultation.
Yes. Share your guidelines or a few past campaign images and we build the visual brief from them first: palette, light, set style, crop and model direction. Brand consistency is the first deliverable.
Your usage rights for the delivered images, and any limits tied to a real model's consent, are set out in your project agreement and our Terms. Ask us before briefing if you need a specific scope, such as worldwide or perpetual use.
On our own site, yes: AI models are labelled everywhere they appear. For your campaigns we'll tell you which frames are AI-assisted so you can meet any platform or advertising disclosure rules that apply to you.
